Family furious as last photo of John Gotti hits Net

The last photo of cancer-stricken mob boss John Gotti depicts a not-so-Dapper Don - and its release left his spouse a less-than-merry widow.

"It breaks my heart to see yet again the need for people to not allow him to rest in dignity...," an angry Victoria Gotti said Tuesday after the grim picture of a terminally-ill Gotti was posted on the Internet.

"It's sad that some human beings are such ghouls."

The 61-year-old Gambino family boss, in a head shot taken by the federal Bureau of Prisons less than eight months before his 2002 death, appears pale and doughy.

He's wearing a nondescript gray T-shirt, and his once-thick mane is receding, thinning and turning white.

The photo is the antithesis of Gotti's public face from the 1980s, when the menacing boss - clad in $2,000 Brioni suits, his skin bronzed and hair perfectly coiffed - reigned as public enemy No. 1.
