Why is there so little economic news??
The pretty lil' bimbo on "Today" had a segment and said nothing. NPR's all agog about Roger Clemens. WTF is going on with the media????

2. Kick & R-
It is amazing-guess it doesn't get ratings which is why they are news "shows". The economy is in bad shape and hardly a word from the MSM

3. Economic News Isn't Sexy...
Those of us with vested interested in the economy are sure watching, and I assure you the last place I go for information about how the economy is doing is the corporate media. They can't be honest that the economy has collapsed as that admits the consumer culture that puts money in their pockets is screwed up...they'd rather you have the illusion that whatever financial messes you have, they're your problem...and now a word from our sponsor.

This country is very poorly educated on how the economy works. Few kids are taught what interest rates are, yet are issued high-interest cards when they turn 18. The big banks and corporations "deregulated" themselves into debts and dragged the economy with it...and now they're expecting the middle class and/or government to bail them out for their own largess and greed.

5. Good Question.
Can't be a recession (or worse) if the media isn't saying so. :sarcasm:

7. It's not about news - it's about entertainment...
and business shows are about cheering on the stock market.

Besides, if they told the truth there might be a run on the banks.
