Florida Court just ruled that an HOA can rule what you do in your home.

To an extent. This just came on channel 9. Apparently a homeowner was running a gay porn site from his home and there must have been some night time activity because the court sided with the HOA since children couldn't look out the window at night.

Not sure if I got all that right, so if someone knows the details, please feel free to provide them.

2. Right or wrong, I'm not surprised the HOA won...

not the least because it was running a business out of the home in violation of the rules. OK, we all know the nature of the business caused the outcry, but they shouldn't have been surprised whn they got caught, and HOAs sometimes have more powers than real governments.

Can't imagine why the blinds were open, though, that neighbor kids could see what was going on. Maybe they thought they shut the blinds, but the way some blinds work, you can still see in when looking down. Still, Youlda thunk...
