Was he going to use it as a seasoning?
Man I'm sorry but this is pissing me off. MSNBC just ran a tease about the guy with the ricin in a Vegas hotel room. The reporter said, "officials say they don't believe it to be terror related". Great, Swampy, Bejeebus was he going to use it as a seasoning? You can bet your ass the guy is a middle-aged white guy, if he even had a hint of a tan it would "VOTE McCain!!!, terror in America's playground!"

I wrote about it earlier with a source, sorry for the pimping but this one has sources:

1. Very strange.
I wonder if it was his or was it already in the room when he checked in.

2. I was wondering about that too.
I hope MSNBC clues us in on all the legitimate, safe uses for ricin in a hotel room.

As long as he was a republican, like the anthrax terrorist, it won't get much attention and won't be considered a real terrorist attack.

4. If he was identified, we would know more.
But I'm not holding my breath on the spinning MSM.
May a foreign paper will get the scoop.
Pathetic that we have to scour other countries
newspapers to find out what's going on in the US.

5. Geez, the guy has been in the hospital for more than two weeks...
Would the symptoms of Ricin poisoning be something that doctors could figure out, or does it imitate other illnesses? And, if this man was messing around with Ricin, wouldn't he have taken steps to either dispose of it, or hide it away before going to the hospital? It's getting even more bizarre.

"LAS VEGAS - Authorities on Friday confirmed that the deadly toxin ricin was found in a motel room most recently occupied by a man who has been in critical condition with breathing problems at a hospital for more than two weeks.

A pinprick of ricin is enough to kill.

"Six to eight hours, you're going to start showing symptoms," said Greg Evans, director of the Institute for Biosecurity at Saint Louis University in Missouri.

A friend or relative of the sick man found the vials after going to the Extended Stay America motel, several blocks west of the Las Vegas Strip, to retrieve his belongings, police Deputy Chief Kathy Suey said..."

6. If you don;t know you are looking for it
it can hide.

That said, I want to know what is a legitimate use for ricin... I really do.

I agree with the OP, if this guy had a hint of brown... TERRA, TERRA, TERRA

7. There Are Other Rumors Floating
Involving conventional weapons and such also being found in the room. Maybe the denials are just a Homeland Security taking a 180 from the way similar incidents have been handled in the past (to the panic and overreaction of all potentially concerned).
