1. I am very "fearful" about it...........
What should have been our Bright Shining Triumph...seems to be turning...into...something else.

So many questions.

2. My dad.
He's a Clinton fan and used to be a fan of politics. He now can't wait for baseball season, and our conversations during the week have ceased. He loved KO-now, not so much.

Me? Ha!

I cannot wait for Tuesday. I live in TX. ;)

6. Way less than usual.
This time I think my candidate just might win, so I'm hoping election night doesn't suck as bad as usual.

Well, not quite my candidate. Not Kucinich and not Edwards. But I'm looking forward to four years of a President who doesn't horrify me.

8. You mean a president who can speak in complete sentences?
And a president who is not a homicidal, mass murdering neanderthal and stands upright not throwing feces at the nation?

7. Nah but that is becuase I expect no change
hell in bad days I expect the pugs to steal it or the elections to be suspended

So that acceptance has strangely given me an inner peace

15. Hey I think I;d be more onto the xanax department if I had any hope
the American people as a whole would do something ´bout it.

I´ll vote, but don´t expect anything to change

So if something does, I´ll be pleasantly surprised

:-)

Peace to you

9. Not me, not at all. We win, simple as that.
I don't care which candidate we get out there, folks are fed up with the way things are.

Change is in the air.

bush is poison, and McCain hasn't got a chance.

I have never been more confident that we will win the WH.

Now what we do when we get there - that worries me a bit :)

10. No...
Why? This election is just one more example -- of the death of democracy in America. And as a liberal, more and more people are joining us. They frankly have no choice; liberals have historically been the only people to oppose social injustices... and our power is growing daily.

I remember in the 80s, no one protested, during the Reagan era when he was looting the bank.

11. I had to take an Ativan today
I don't know whether I'd attribute it to the election, but it was probably a factor. (It's hard to tell what brings my anxiety attacks on.)

16. This may relax you
or at least divert your attention for a bit. Generally I'm not a big country music fan, but I do like some of it. Check out this 15 year old who was discovered while singing on the streets for pocket change. This video is from Good Morning America. Truly amazing.

19. I hate that we really don't have anyone who is going to change
the crap that has been going on for the last several decades and work for the people - they are all only protecting their jobs and benefits and really don't give a rats %#@$%$# about the rest of us - they are slick marketing groups - the only ones winning are the networks and advertising agencies making up this propaganda -

sure wish we would have quick and inexpensive elections like Canada - and wish we could get left of their right - we are so far right God is embarrassed had how little most Americans are willing to give to others

23. FDR was a spoiled rich man that every other rich man expected
to continue the disastrous policies that had benefited the rich at the expense of everybody else.

Hope for the best. It can happen again. Just prepare for the worst.

31. wouldn't that be nice - but it will be so hard to get past these right wing nuts -
they hate people when you judge them by their behavior - their words say one things but there actions say they like killing - and especially killing anyone that does not believe like them - I could really enjoy an FDR type - and a congress that would support that type and do what is right for humanity - all the infighting they have built on - the divide and conquer methods to distract everyone from what they are really doing - it is just awful - I would love to see someone who practiced christian principles in the christ conscious way and got away from thee religious groups who seem to do the opposite of christ consciousness

this 'situation normal' pretense mr pig is foisting on us- the situation aint normal! Things have never been as bad as this, and karma alone demands ratwing blood.......forgive me; i lost my head there! But the lawn order crowd...where ARE THEY? Goddammit they suck up a hundred billion dollars a year, yet bush commits public treason, meanwhile the bloody fbi 'investigates' Roger Clemens!
(and while Obama's better then Mccain, still it's plain we're being ridden like one of those rodeo bulls, with the Democratic candidates the straps mr pig is hanging on with....imho)

21. No. I just get out there and remind people why those prices
in the supermarket are going up every week and why that gas pump price is going up almost daily. I remind them that the same party who pushed us into the Great Depression has pursued the same policies that started it onto us and we're facing the same thing.

I'm merciless. Few people contradict me. They know. I just help them connect some of the dots to the party instead of the man.

24. I've stopped caring.
I don't like either candidate. I'm up to my ears in debt and I'm completely exhausted, so everything is stripped down to basic survival now. I really don't think that anything will radically change if HRC or Obama get into the Whitehouse. :-(

I simply take a food based stress multivitamin... it also seems as the ingredients in that -- also work on just about everything I am allergic too in the environment, as well.

Two years ago and haven't gone back.

Although I am highly invested in the upcoming election, when I feel the slightest twinge, I turn my attention to those who are nearest and dearest to me.

29. Nah. The election is the least of our problems...
Either one of ours is fine with me and will probably win in November. President Clinton or President Obama will have some massive problems to deal with, and if anything would stress me out, how they handle it would. But, I don't see either of them as any worse than any of the others who have dropped out, so it's not the election that bothers me, but the future.

We are horribly in debt and are spending a trillion a year on "defense" when our roads and waterworks are falling apart.

The rest of the world is catching up to our standard of living just when the planet's natural resources are stretched, forcing us to give up some things we have assumed as a birthright.

South America is flipping us off, China and Russia are growing in influence, Europe is looking to its own problems, and we are pretty much left alone on the planet. But still spending that trillion a year to strut our "strength."

Ain't gonna be easy for the next President to pick up the pieces this one left.

32. No -- not particularly over THIS election --- when you wake up you are going to feel stress
that isn't going to go away until fascism in America goes away ---
and we seem to be far from that !!!

Politics makes for high blood pressure --- !!!
