Spooky feeling last night
I watched the 1983 Dan Aykroyd/Eddie Murphy comedy "Trading Places." As the two of them walked into the World Trade Center I was musing about how immense those twin towers use to be when Dan Aykroyd turned to Eddie Murphy and said "Nothing can prepare you for the unbridled carnage you are about to witness."

Hearing that line spoken at the entrance to the twin towers in 1983 just creeped me out.

(Cue the Twilight Zone music)

1. I was just looking at the gorgeous NY skyline in the opening of Moonstruck
I was struck again by how so many people don't seem to recognize what we lost that day.

4. Did You See Munich?
At the end (which was set in the 1970s) they showed the skyline of lower Manhattan - focused on the twin towers. I'm sure it was deliberate, although the message is debatable.

5. Faye Dunnaway went in the WTC last night also.

Three Days of the Condor was on. She went to see Cliff Robertson in the CIA Office.
