McLame: Make tax cuts permanent and retrain unemployed workers.
How out of touch can this old coot be?

The tax cuts, you ***asshole***, are *why* we're here. Who the fuck do you think will be paying the bills you let your boy, The Shitstain on the Shortz of History, run up.

And this notion of training the unemployed ....... what jobs, exactly, will you be retraining them to do? Or were your comments aimed at your constituency in Bangalore?

1. Bangalore is doing quite well right now. On the other hand, Bangor isn't.

2. Great idea.
Train them to stock shelves and run a cash register. Wal-Mart is always looking for good people.

4. Someone has spent too much time...
In Washington DC. Between the general diconnected aspect of that town and its citizens and his advanced age, he has no fucking idea about what is going on in this country.

That said, I am not convinced any of them do.

5. Retrain for what? The took away all the jobs that working people
could retrain for. All that's left is changing bed pans & stocking shelves at Walmart. McCain doesn't know what he is talking about.

6. As usual, repubs blame the people
"Retraining the people" implies that hte "people" who are out of work are obsolete, undereducated, or irrevelent. It says nothing about the employers who sent away the jobs.

And any job that they train for will be entry level. That's what training is.

7. Obama's response
should be "Retrain? Sen. McCain must be out of touch. We can retrain people until we are blue in the face...to what avail? So they can go out and not find any jobs? Training is great if their are jobs available."

8. More importantly, how will he fund the program to retrain? Borrow
from the Chinese?

10. Oh, yeah, I can see where that would work. Support your family on
a student loan while you go to school. End up in more debt. Can you sing 16 Tons?
