Saint Ronnie.....even he KNEW!
Historical Quote of the Day (AP)

"A moment I've been dreading. George (Bush Sr.) brought his ne'er-do-well son around this morning and asked me to find the kid a job. Not the political one who lives in Florida. The one who hangs around here all the time looking shiftless. This so-called kid is already almost 40 and has never had a real job. Maybe I'll call Kinsley over at The New Republic and see if they'll hire him as a contributing editor or something. That looks like easy work."

-- Ronald Reagan in his recently published diaries, written May 17, 1986

4. I've seen that before
George finally found his calling, however. World desecrater par excellence.

"I pretend to be stupid, and people let me do it! Ha! I never dreamed it'd be this easy!"

9. False: These Edited Diaries are too busy being coma-inducing most of the time..
Every other day its talking about the Ranch or Nancy. The full diaries will hopefully be released someday and we can read the whole thing. I want to read what the leader of the free world thought day to day. I hate the man's policies and feel his legacy is unjust, but I loved reading his little quips. He bashed the movie "Officer and a Gentleman" for its nudity (it was a fantastic flick!). for a history buff like me, the diaries are interesting.

11. Thank you, debunkers
I really wonder if the Frat Boy made enough of an impression on Reagan to comment. Reagan, for all his faults as a leader, wasn't particularly mean spirited on a personal level. Saying something unkind like this was not in his nature. If we really do find such a remark in the real Reagan diaries about the Frat Boy or any one else, that person must have been remarkably mediocre, incompetent or just unimpressive.
