IAEA unveils allegations of Iranian arms work
VIENNA/UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - U.N. investigators want Iran to explain an organizational chart linking projects to process uranium, test explosives and modify a missile cone for a nuclear payload, diplomats briefed on the matter say.

They said a top U.N. nuclear watchdog official last week gave a detailed presentation of intelligence alleging illicit atomic "weaponization studies" by Iran and naming the man who ran them for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.

In a written summary given to Reuters of the presentation, they said Iran had refused to let inspectors interview Mohsen Fakrizadeh or visit sites where the experiments took place.

The summary also confirmed leaks that the briefing for the first time indicated Iran continued the three projects into 2004, calling into question a U.S. intelligence estimate in December that said Iran shelved weaponization research in 2003.

2. oh brother
this is getting really absurd. If countries around the World do not want some countries getting nukes, then nukes should be banned across the board. Till then every nation bitchin' about Iran is full of shit! Especially the US and ISrael.

why should anyone else follow them? It's the hypocrisy and hubris of powerful countries and their mania that creates these types of situations.

Look at the hypocrisy of Israel and it's rabid supporters:

UK 'cover-up' on Israel's nukes

We were party to the development of a nuclear facility in Israel that has been used for the manufacture of nuclear weapons
Jeremy Corbyn

Britain is being accused of trying to cover up its role in helping Israel develop its nuclear weapons programme.
In August, Newsnight revealed that more than 40 years ago, Britain sold heavy water, a key substance, to Israel.

MPs now allege that minister Kim Howells tried to mislead the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over Britain's role.

The charges come as the head of the IAEA, Mohamed ElBaradei, is about to the receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

3. Do you have a link to the Reuters article? The link you provide
is to a propaganda outlet.

According to their website, Iran Focus is a U.K-based "non-profit news service provider that focuses on events in Iran, Iraq and the Middle East ... dedicated to providing comprehensive, up-to-date information and news on the Persian Gulf region in a fair and balanced manner." <1>(Italics added)

The nonprofit claim is impossible to verify as the site provides no information on their source of funding, their board of directors or even their staff. None of the articles written by Iran Focus carry a byline and the "sources" they cite are often unidentified.

The domain name registration for the site is in the name of Mohammad Hanif Jazayeri, who is Iran Focus’ current executive editor. Jazayeri is a 21 year old student from Great Britain whose parents both have been members of the People's Mojahedin Organisation of Iran PMOI, a political arm of the MKO. Hanif has been campaigning to have the PMOI removed from the UK list of designated terrorist organisations. <2>
