1. come on, admit it. If Nixon were president, we'd be much better off.

the neocons would have been held at bay, the environment would be protected, social security would be funded, vets would be cared for, and we would not be in Iraq. Instead of a collapsing economy, we'd probably running a crash course on energy conservation and clean production technology.

Oh, and, we'd be negotiating with Iran, North Korea, and stepping hard on Darfur. And the last thing, because many of Nixon's domestic policies are to the LEFT of many dems in office currently, the GOP would have kicked him out of their party.
