This is just a feeling, but I think the media really is under playing this angle. Does anyone know how many more states are open or where these asshats can screw with the results?

1. What are we supposed to do?
The whole point of open primaries is to be inclusive. I think it's honorable. That said, if it's clear that people are taking advantage of it to screw our party, we should look at that.

At this point, there's no way to determine what a vote in an open primary means. There's no registration. We'd have to close it to even know how much it matters, if at all.

Even so, the exit polls seemed to indicate that Republicans were a wash in this one. The why probably shouldn't concern us...we should just be happy that they didn't influence it.

3. No, you have an important point.
Since McCain has won, they really have nothing better to do than wreak havoc on our process. That isn't cool.

7. What havoc are they wreaking? Are they voting against YOUR candidate?
I suspect Republicans will not only vote in Democratic Primaries for a Democrat but will vote in the general election for one as well.

I couldn't believe it when I first heard about "open" primaries.
