I'm turning Republican........
...well, almost.

The Republicans got their nomination wrapped up. They appear in control, united, organized and together. Wonderful!

And here we are - the Democratic Party looking like schlubbs, unorganized, divided, slugging each other - not being able to get it together if our own ass was on fire!
Business as usual! It makes me wanna hurl.

The Republicans suck - but at least they suck united!!!

5. I'm not.......
.....I know that Obama is still ahead and will most likely stay ahead in Delegate counts. Mathematically it is virtually impossible for Hillary to get the numbers.
I'm just saying that, once again, we look like an unruly, undisciplined and divided bunch who cannot come together because blind, individual ambition trumps the interest of the Party as a whole.

2. I don't belong to an organized political party. I'm a Democrat.
It was Will Rogers who said that.

16. You know, I did too but I looked it up.
This is a common misconception. It was Rogers.

4. I prefer to belong to the party of thinkers rather than the lemming party
I expect members of my party to be independent thinkers rather than a mass of governed lemmings who can't think for themselves and follow whoever the designated leader is straight off a cliff. I never understand who Republicans are complemented on being united when half the time they function as lemmings.

6. Come on...
we have two strong candidates--no matter how you put it--who are trying to beat the hell out of the repubs. A black man and a white woman...running for President...come on, they did great last night--both of them---and they are making great strides in trying to bring this country to the 21st century. We ain't there yet, by a long shot, but at least there has been some progress.

Quit looking at the glass as "half-empty."

7. Government Of The People Is Messy
Since the repukes don't believe in the gov't of the people, it's easy for them to stay organized. The fundamental premise of democracy is irrelevant to them.

8. The reason the Democrats suck...
Is because people would rather come in D.U. and bash one candidate against the other.
No one in here seemed to be happy that we had two competent people both fit to take on the presidency.
I posted earlier in the month...this should not be a bashing
fest.
Democrats really need to unite and quit dividing. I have always attributed Republican success with they stand united
in whoever their party represents. Even on the lower levels.
We all should be "backing" our party period. Instead of giving the Republican ammo to use against us.

20. Within this oligarchy, we don't have "electable" liberal candidates. That's why the fuss
It's a simple equation:

1)Those who don't know any better, believe in the common political ruses/fairy tales, will support a corporatist candidate.

2)Those who are able to discern the differences.

Those in the first group can't understand what all the in-fighting is about because they're not at all informed on deep politics.

9. Which is why Dem's don't elect leaders they elect presidents
I for one can not get behind any party that demands total submission from those below them. In fact I can't stand anyone that isn't independent in thought and actions. I am a human being not a republican mix of human and sheep = sheeple.

Well, you're attitude makes me want to hurl. What a quitter.

Go ahead and be a lemming. Run into the sea together with the rest of the Republican lemmings. At least you'll all do it together, united.

11. Damn It That More Democrats Get To Participate In The Primaries
Those folks in Pennsylvania shouldn't have had to deal with this in the first place...ya know, we should just follow the corporate media's hopes and tear ourselves apart cause we have two quality candidates fighting for the vote of the rank and file across the country. Sheesh.

Think of how many more new Democrats will now have the chance to become involved in the process. The large Democratic turn out is not some ghost, the large money raised is real and the anger against all things Repugnican grows each day.

I hope the corporate media keeps goading Democrats...pissing them off and setting the stage for one big ass-kicking in November.

19. What on earth is wrong with not having an official nominee until the convention?
Sometimes, controlled, united, organized and together equals "done deal." I very much prefer the way Dems are doing it, though I do wish we would do it without eviscerating one another.

21. They ar NOT united
Are you kidding? Probaby about a third of repubs hate their candidate.

The only reason they APPEAR united in the nom is their winner-takes-all delegate system. If they had ours, McCain, Huck and Romney would still be fighting it out.

25. United?!? I've never seen republicans more divided in my lifetime.
They got a candidate by default that many in their base can't stand. We have two candidates that are so popular that in state after state we're breaking turnout records. We have, what I like to refer to as a "high-end problem". The pubs may have picked their candidate, but that's about all they've got going for them at the moment.
