Does anyone else here watch Jericho on CBS? The more I watch it, the more I feel that
the creators/writers are screaming out for America to wake up.

4. It can be watched online directly at CBS. They have all the episodes. If you computer isn't fast
enough, there are streaming videos of all the shows on the net at different sits. Try Veoh.com. :)

10. Season One is on replay on SciFi, 10:00 Monday nights.
I missed it first time around, so now I'm watching both season 1 and season 2 on succeeding nights. Really strange. Seeing season 2 answers to questions that season 1 hasn't come up with yet.

5. It does seem that way.
there are so many correlations between reality and the show. Just last night it came out that the whole take-over was based on the Continuity of Government report.
See

It's not very far fetched. Thank God the people currently in power are trustworthy.
Not!

6. Last night's show was eerie ...
I could almost swear it was written by DUers! The writers seem to be aware of the slope we're sliding on & I got the same feeling that they were trying to wake up some viewers.

Shades of B;ackwater, Halliburton, Cheney, a provisional government working against the constitution, vanishing funds, prison w/out trial, MIHOP/LIHOP, & more.

7. This may be the ONLY way to get the attention of Americans who think
that politics is "boring" and has nothing to do with them...

11. lol shades of Halliburton? J&R as opposed to KBR , Ravenwood as opposed to Blackwater?
They couldn't be more obvious if they tried!

And yes, it does seem as if it could have been written by DUers. Maybe it has?

strike kept it alive on CBS.

And yes, he does look like Cheney! Also remember that the attacks took place in September and was an inside job. The nuclear material is from the old USSR that had been obtained by the US. Our anthrax attacks were done with US Govt. anthrax.

8. Will people be inspired to act? Probably not.
My guess is that most people are happy to sit in front of the TV and watch fictional people fix fictional problems. They get to live vicariously for a while and forget their own problems. TV is an opiate used to escape reality. Unfortunately, most people don't watch it to be "woken up".

9. I never miss it
It's great that someone is trying to get through what can happen if we don't wake up and take notice of what could happen.

13. My son and hubby never miss it...also it's unique because
it was cancelled and brought back by viewer demand, which is very unusual.

It must have a large following of very devoted fans. Now I suspect that most of them just watch it for the pure entertainment value but perhaps it's speaking to them, on some level. :) One can only hope.

The other night my son said, "Can you believe what that idiot president said?" and I immediately said, "Bush?" and he said "No, the president on Jericho!"

14. I watched an episode or two on a high def channel. I don't know
if it is Universal or HDNet or what. But it was probably a week or two behind the regular CBS programming. Is it on Tuesdays or Wednesday nights? I'd like to watch or record it.
