Delegates, Super Delegates, Electoral College...
Can someone explain to me why I even bother to vote? You know I always thought a Democracy was one person, one vote, most votes wins. But ever since I seriously got into politics I realize more and more that my vote isn't worth shit. My vote can be easily countered by a super-delegate or by electoral votes.
The system needs to be changed. The whole stinking process from primaries to the general needs to be revamped. You want to get the rest of America to vote? Change the system so it's easy to understand, and so that people feel like their vote actually matters. If Obama wins more of the popular vote yet the nomination is thrown to Hillary by way of "super-delegates" (and yes I will for for either one although I have throw in with Obama) we are going to disenfranchise many people who are finally coming out and getting involved this year. IMHO the entire election process from campaign financing to elections needs to be overhauled.

Flame away.
