The "best" video you will ever watch.......
Your eyes will open in revelation within the first 5 minutes.

Then...after you watch it, you'll know why this is the easiest test you'll ever take:

The word "intelligence" is splattered about the quiz.... but that's not what's being tested there.

1. That was interesting.
I don't mean to cherry pick, but how well has that video been fact-checked? I don't have trouble with most of her claims, but "the US has only 4% of its original forests" ... huh?

3. Okay. The 4% figure is bullshit.

Before European settlement, forests covered nearly one billion acres of what is now the United States. Since the mid-1600's, about 300 million acres of forest have been cleared, primarily for agriculture during the 19th century. Today about one-third of the nation is forested. While total forest area has been relatively stable for the last 100 years (currently about 747 million acres), there have been significant regional shifts in the area and composition of the nation's forests. http://www-atlas.usgs.gov/articles/biology/a_forest.html

So, we've lost 25% of our forest, not 96%.

6. Did you watch the whole video??
Because it's not really about deforestation. It's about
the material economy.

4. Only 4% of the USA's existing trees were alive in 1776.

5. Considering we've lost 100% of the original humans, the trees are faring pretty well.

9. Right. The video should have used the term :Virgin Forests. There is a patch of virgin forest
about 40 miles north of where I live in south central PA. It is called "The Hemlocks" and it is a little State Park. VIrgin Forests are rare.
