"New York City is back and open for business" - Bloomberg
Edited on Thu Mar-06-08 09:27 AM by MonkeyFunk
After a large firecracker went off in Times Square. He's also vowed to catch and prosecute "the coward".

So I guess it's safe to come out of your bunkers now.

2. I agree with Powerline Blog: it was a left-wing group (or person) who did it
You know how I know? It was at 3 in the morning and no one was there.

When wingnuts bomb facilities they oppose, they do it when they are full of people.

5. According to Bloomberg
This is also an attack on every military person all over the world. Pretty strong stuff from a guy who decided to go work on Wall Street rather than go fight in Vietnam. We'll see if this High Church of Redemptive Violence preaching still resonates with folks.

6. He's trying to be Giuliani...
but it just came off as funny.

Was anybody under the impression that New York had been shut down by this cherry bomb?

7. Or . . .
Or that it's of any concern to about 99.3% of the country? This is a purely local event, yet it's been foisted on the entire country as if we're all supposed to be transfixed by it.

Well, since it's been brought to my attention, why didn't George W. Bush's administration stop this terrorist attack? Where IS George in all of this?
