What is a firehouse primary?
It's apparently some kind of hybrid between a caucus and a primary? How would it work?

In an effort to resolve the impasse, officials in both states this week have publicly floated the idea of holding do-over contests -- in essence, newly sanctioned primaries or caucuses or, in the case of Michigan, a hybrid "firehouse primary."

1. Link
http://www.doubletongued.org/index.php/dictionary/firehouse_primary/

This seems to be the definition they're using. From a VA source:

"In a firehouse primary, a limited number of voting locations are chosen within a legislative district and ballots are cast on one day within a set amount of time, usually shorter than a regularly scheduled election."

Note I used the word "seems". So they're caucus-like in that they're restricted and limited, but primary-like in that they're voting and not standing around trying to horse-trade and brow-beat each other.

2. Not crazy about "limiting locations".
Also, I think that they should allow the rules on the board for openness. And I only say that, because there are undoubtedly people that supported both Obama & Clinton initially, and they would like their vote to be counted. I think the rules should stipulate that if they voted Puke in the original primary - then obviously they can't vote again.
