"Millionaire"--I think people are still bewitched by the word, even though it
doesn't mean as much as it used to.

Don't get me wrong--I'd love to be a millionaire.

But you think about it--for example, a million dollars in 1958--probably 15-20 million today equates to 1 million then.

Regardless of what the "official" inflation figures say.

3. being a millionare was never on my list of life goals. but what i find troubling is how millionaires
and multi millionaires are revered by working people in this country, even as those millionaires gathered their fortunes on the blood sweat and tears of the working class.
