This Taxi driver is finished. Looking for a job where someone else is paying the fuel. Working for yourself just keeps getting tougher and tougher. Inflation is on the rise, long live Dictator Bush.

Do I really need the sarcasm tag?

1. You know it is because everyone will be running out and filling their cars & cans to the brim
cause of the storm coming right?

Although they would never admit to this type of collusion and fixing, but we all know it for what it is. I said to hubby this AM at around 0500...so, wonder how quick gas will go up before the storm?

2. Have you considered migrating to Venezuela? They have a rosy future
if Bushco does not have their Colombian proxies invade.

4. Might be wise to invest
in converting the taxi to an alternative fuel. I think people who can do this will be ahead of the game.

9. It isn't feasible. The cost to operate is 400 a week plus your Insurance, another 100 a week plus
Gas. If it breaks down, which it does many times because of our fine Michigan roads that costs me too. It usually breaks down two or three times a month. Tire Rods, Ball Joints are major problems. Small cars just don't hold up when you put two hundred miles of city driving a day on them. Our potholes are so bad in the Grand Rapids area they have one lane closed on the highway for three days now patching miles of potholes, some streets are almost closed because the holes are so bad.
It will be OK, I have a little back up in the bank for repairs and will be getting a seasonal job driving dump truck where someone else pays the fuel.
