2. What happened to blaming Bill Clinton for everything?
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 03:11 PM by butlerd
I guess Nancy is the new "Bill Clinton" that can be blamed for whatever "bad" things happen that Republicans don't want to take responsibility for (which they seem to be so adamant about at least for other people) or that otherwise helps advance their agenda (i.e. telecom immunity)?

*If we stipulate the fact that this act somehow wasn't prevented because the PAA hadn't been passed by the House and signed into law yet, it would be a little more intellectually honest to argue that it is really Bush NOT Congress (the House anyway) who is holding the PAA up due to his fervent demands that telecom immunity be included in the legislation and his emphatic statements that he will refuse to sign any bill that doesn't include it. The sad thing is that he may yet get it in the end if enough so-called "Blue Dog" Dems break ranks to support it but it's not like Ollie and the rest of the Republicans won't find some other way to blame Nancy and other Democrats for.................something.
