Pastor John Hagee's Blogger Groupies--Hilarious Video
On my blog, I bashed apocalyptic nutjob John Hagee before bashing John Hagee was cool. for those of you not in the know, Hagee is the Catholic-bashing, anti-semitic, warmongering fundie preacher who endorsed McCain, much to McCain's delight, a few days ago.

Once the media, prompted by bloggers, found out how radioactive Hagee was, right-wing bloggers mostly avoided the subject. I was one of the few people to report last year how right-wing bloggers, such as the influential Powerline blog, embraced Hagee last year after he gave a bellicose speech to AIPAC. I have updated this post with the discovery of a video in which a right-wing blogger is heard wildly cheering Hagee's AIPAC speech. The video is hilarious but sad: http://scoobiedavis.blogspot.com/ I have more on my blog about Hagee.

2. There is more than a grain of truth in what your write
The simple fact is that fundamentalists love Jews, not out of universalist princples of viewing other humans as humans, but because that is what their interpretation of the Bible tells them to think. If their interpretation of the Bible made them think that it was God's views that Christians should wear beach balls on their heads, then they would follow suit. However, that still doesn't prevent fundies like Hagee from saying anti-semitic things: http://www.talk2action.org/story/2007/3/2/172519/7931
