Funny, my constitution only has SEVEN articles, not 10. Given the code words I think I understood, (1973 = Roe v. Wade) then obviously torture = abortion. And, thinking that by "Articles", he meant "Amendments", I think was was about to go on an anti-abortion rant. Luckily, he was cut off.

Some of the democrats and moderates are getting online, and are good to hear.

this morning one of the Cal. rethugs was on complaining about the 15 million illegal aliens in Cal. My question is, why do rethugs hate immigrants so much? It seems to me that 15 million is slightly high.

they hate immigrants, D's, gays, liberals, teachers, ACLU lawyers, the poor, seniors on social security, anyone without a flag lapel pin, anyone with a criticism about the ill-conceived war, anyone anti-torture, abortion-providing doctors, latte drinkers, volvo drivers, blacks who insist on sitting up front, women who work and think . . .

the one thing that thoroughly unites the conservatives is hate . . .

The immigration question was never as big as this, but the Republican machine made sure they could make hay with it for years to come. Whoopee; somebody else to hate!
