Folks, this is the definition of "Karma"
I know we're all supposed to love Gov. Spitzer because he was such a crusading Democrat, but the truth is that his power went to his head. He was a bully, and did manage to ruin some good people in his quest for justice (and personal glory IMHO).

There are a LOT of people (Dems as well as Republicans) who are raising a glass tonight, and celebrating the fact that the steamroller finally got his.

3. As someone in the anti-pesticide movement, I am sorry to see Spitzer go down
Only New York State, under Spitzer's direction, has been known to fine companies like Monsanto for False Advertising. to the tune of $ 50K.

5. I've seen some of that on this board
and yes, a crusader against prostitution should have kept his pants zipped.

However, I am glad he's choosing rehab over resignation. A little rehab never hurt any egomaniac, and they're very good at tearing down big egos in order to rebuild them from the ground up.

Let's hope when he gets back he'll return to going after Wall Street crooks instead of the easy target of women selling sex to willing customers.

8. Woops, apparently I bought into the rumor mill
but until and unless he resigns, they're equivalent rumors.

Rehab would be a lovely thing for him to do. It would disgrace that particular brand of deodorant for all future disgraced GOPocrites.
