Keith Olbermann Should Be Dead to You Too...Just Follow the Clues

It's true! Keith died some time ago...but because he's got the top-rated show at MSNBC, you think they're going to admit it? No way!! Instead, they've come up with a very clever means of hiding the truth from the general viewer, while clueing in we the faithful fans.

Just consider these clues and you'll realize I'm right.

1. If you play the opening music of Countdown backwards, it forms a pattern of notes similar to that of the funeral dirge specified in the Tibetan Book of the Dead.

2. I played a recording of today's Dan Patrick radio show backwards, and you can hear Dan say "Keith is dead...miss him, miss him...he's no longer day-to-day."

3. If you play the last Dana Milbank interview backwards, you can hear him saying to Keith "Turn me on, dead newsman."

4. If you play the last Rachel Maddow interview backwards, you can hear her say either "I buried Keith" or "Keith has been dead for ages, actually."

5. Keith wore a red spotted tie tonight, which is an ancient Mayan symbol of death. Either that, or that he needs a new tailor.

6. There's a famous photo of Keith walking across Rockefeller Plaza with Chris Matthews, Dan Abrams and Joe Scarborough. Keith is the only one who's barefoot. Funny, hm????

7. Do you think the REAL Keith would still be doing the show by this time of year and not have gone entirely STIR-CRAZY to get down to Florida and watch some spring training games? DO YOU?????

I'm sure if you watch Countdown closely, you can find your own clues. Keep your eyes peeled. If you look at "Keith" really carefully, you'll see he's just Tucker Carlson in heavy makeup and shoulder pads. Having to do two live shows a day was wearing him down, so what happens but Tucker's show mysteriously gets "canceled." What did I tell you...?
