1. and many others ;)
but i still say we need to hold everyone to the same standards.
break the law, ur out.

cant expect republicans to be tried or arrested if we dont hold our own to the law.

having sex with someone besides his wife has nothing to do with anything, its the fact he broke the law to do it that matters.

2. Completely immoral, unacceptable behaviour . . .
The only honorable thing to do would be to change parties . . . He'd fit right in to the top 10 conservative idiots list with this sort of behavior.

4. If he was a repuke, this either wouldn't have come to
light at all, or would have been reported on page 40 and quickly forgotten, or, if it somehow did make the front page and there were calls for a resignation, the response would be I might resign in a month....no wait, I was only kidding....and nothing more would be said.

In all the media uproar yesterday on cable, no one pointed out the entirely different standard that Dems are held to.

3. prostitution should be legal
but the bottom line is that it isn't, and he needs to be held to the same standards as everyone else.
Resignation should follow immediately preceding the charges.

too bad....i thought he was one of the good guys, he had a great run as AG

6. The OP was jokey, of course, but I think Vitter is just as guilty of hypocrisy as Spitzer.
Vitter ran for the Senate in Louisiana not just as a Republican, but specifically as a family-values, traditional morals type of guy.

He may not have thrown anyone in jail for solicitation, but his behavior is just as hypocritical as Spitzer's, if not more so.

name, and, when the subject came up, uniformly adopted the mantra that Spitzer should be held to a different standard. Such hypocrisy, but not at all surprising.

7. Spitzer should resign today.
He should not wait until a scumbag like Vitter does.
