NPR: Iraq Violence Surges Again

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=88091795

A day after the U.S. military announced that overall violence was down in Iraq, eight American soldiers were killed in a pair of attacks. That's the highest single-day toll in months, and it's not the only recent incident of violence.

4. In guerilla warfare
the insurgents learn (very quickly) to lay low and out wait a concentration of troops, knowing the occupier can not maintain, logisitically, such a heavy concentration. Then they resume operations either in a new area or in the area the troops had recently occupied.

But, the problem is all the Regime needs is to a one year breather to declare http://disaffectedanditfeelssogood.blogspot.com/2008/01/mission-accomplished-2-this-time-its.html">MISSION ACCOMPLISHED 2, this time it's for real!

And then slink away to Paraguay.
