according to a guest just on with Sam Sedar (who is subbing for Tom Hartman) - and yet there are some posters here that insists we are tin foiling when we suggest that Spitzer was targeted.

And again, I say to our Dem leader and Dem Super delegates, get together and do something, before these people get to your number.

1. Whether he was targeted or not he was doing the nasty with a prostitute.

2. You are correct, but miss the point.
That is to say, the point of the original poster is not criminality on the part of the NY Gov.

The point in question is how purely political you can tolerate your justice dept being.
Spitzer seems to have been in fairly deep with Emperor Club finances. Again, here is a stupid legal framework regarding prostitution creating a class of criminals out of business persons. Of course, Blackwater is above reproach. So Elliot might be guilty of being involved in a prostitution ring. Dick Cheney is a traitor who might end his days in Spandau.

But regardless of Spitzler's guilt, this DoJ is a part of a RICO statute organization, the Bush gang. How it goes about subverting justice by means of universal surveillance and profiling is the point. You cannot have an open democratic security state-- instead, under the panopticon you have a self-serve prison state. Don't believe me? Ask a Czech.

And I suspect that when we look at the whole of the situation, we will find that this investigation would have happened before Bush** and PATRIOT-- it is just that it would have involved due process more.

3. How on earth could he possibly know that number?
What is that figure based on?

(My guess: it's the number of cases brought against Dems going back 80 years. Hell, you could fill a docket with Democrats from Louisiana if you counted that way).
