Chicago to Host 2008 DLC National Conversation, June 28-30 Yesterday, the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) announced that Chicago, Ill., will be the site of its 12th annual National Conversation to be held June 28-30, 2008. DLC Founder and CEO Al From was joined at a press conference by Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, who will serve as honorary chair of the event, as well as U.S. Rep. and House Democratic Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel. This year's National Conversation will be a forum to discuss and debate the best ideas for tackling America's greatest challenges. (More)

2. Damn. It's going to take weeks to clean up the slime and stink they leave behind.
:( I guess I'll have to tell my DH to work from home for a few weeks, for fear of injury or suffocation.
