Chicago to Host 2008 DLC National Conversation, June 28-30 Yesterday, the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) announced that Chicago, Ill., will be the site of its 12th annual National Conversation to be held June 28-30, 2008. DLC Founder and CEO Al From was joined at a press conference by Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, who will serve as honorary chair of the event, as well as U.S. Rep. and House Democratic Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel.
