When I can afford to, I think it's only right that I help support the work that goes into providing services such as this and others. I do the same thing with the Open Source tools I use (I'm a Linux Geek who believes in 'donating'). No, I don't have to ... I just do, because I appreciate the work these folks do, knowing they might not get a dime from many who benefit from their hard work.

And, it wasn't just that post ... it was that that post was the last place I landed after scanning through hundreds of threads (and, yes, I bothered to read many) and it happened to be #1 under "Greatest".

But, no, I hadn't read it as, at the time, I was really frustrated about all of the time I'd wasted reading through the first batches of posts that had not encouraged me to believe it would be any different.

Update: I just realized I probably should have set hide Primaries rather than show them. Everything is much better now.

I had emailed some friends about some stuff I'd watched on CSPAN as well as my frustration that it appeared it was being ignored by the media in lieu of covering the Spitzer Hooker crap and O/H crap.
