BUSH vs. Spitzer. War crimes, illegal spying, illegal spying, politicization = NO PROBLEM, but
pay to spend time with an escort, and do "imagined things" in privacy, and you will be driven from office in a day (or two).

Does anyone have a problem with this picture?

Is anyone publicly saying anything?

HELLO WORLD! Bush has killed hundreds of thousands of people. HELLO WORLD!

1. Very disturbing when
looking at them both from that perspective. Lopsided priorities much?

2. Not really sure
Bushes popularity is sitting at 19 %. Clearly a large fraction of America pubic believes there are major problems with these policies.

5. On second thought, is this the product of illegal spying? They would need a cover story.
Actually, if this is fruit of a poison tree (illegal spying was the first knowledge), they would need a "cover up" story to release the story.

They would also need to leak it, to avoid yet another crime!

7. Paying a hooker for sex isn't a big deal if

you are a repuke Senator from Louisiana. Playing footsie with an undercover cop isn't enough to drive you from the Senate if you're a repuke Senator from Idaho. Shooting a guy in the face calls for an apology - from the victim - if you are the repuke vice-president shooter. Starting an illegal war, killing and maiming thousands, sanctioning torture, doing nothing while an American city is destroyed, shredding the Constitution...all not enough to get you impeached if you're a repuke White House occupant. Hell, allowing a male hooker into the WH numerous times doesn't even draw a polite inquiry as to what the hell is going on.

Granted that Spitzer's actions were incredibly stupid, but if he was a repuke, this more than likely would have been swept under the carpet or minimized as a "private matter." The double standard is sickening.
