2. Kern reminds me of some of the idiots we have in the AZ state lege

It's about time these bigots got publicly exposed. Sadly, not many people pay attention to what's going on in their state governments and these jerks get reelected over and over. State legislatures are where the right wing is doing the most damage. When they can't get their regressive social and economic agendas through Congress, they go to the state houses, where they know they will get a receptive audience because there are so many wingnut legislators. This is why it's important to have good progressives running for every local office. We tend to focus on the national level too much, when a lot of the harm is being done at the state level.
