Just a minute
After tuning into the various cable news programs.. and after hearing over and over again, what Reverend Wright has said, I wonder something. Perhaps someone can set me straight on this, so I don't feel so 'lost' in space. What exactly did Reverend Wright say that is incorrect? Did he not state the facts? Did we bomb all those places/people he stated we did. Do we sponser state terrorism? Is there something I missed. Sounds to me like it's more 'politically incorrect' than untruthful.

Did not some feel a kind of 'pay back' for the 9/11 innocents? I heard this over and over again, at the time... how our actions were what created that tragedy.

Pretty ugly, that's for sure... from the Reverend... but truthful??!!

1. I think he's a cool preacher
I'd like to listen to him more frequently. There is nothing wrong with what he said, other than it might be offensive to some more center-leaning Democrats who might be embarrased when these tapes are played by a 527 group. It is an issue that needs to be dealt with.

that no one is really going after McCains Religious hate mongers...

This is the problem with mixing Religion and politics....there is a seperation of church and state.

Who knows who * has been meeting with and the country seems okay with it, the fact * is making national decisons on the advice of he religous advisors.

4. I remember Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell
saying that 9-11 allowed by God because this is what we deserved...

" During a discussion about whether this crisis might bring revival to America, Jerry Falwell said God may have allowed what the nation deserved because of moral decay and said Americans should have an attitude of repentance before God and asking for God's protection. He specifically listed the ACLU, abortionists, feminists, gays, and the People For the American way as sharing in the blame. Pat Robertson responded with agreement."

I tend more to agree with Wright than them.
