'Stop the Fox News Virus,' says filmmaker in new vid
http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Stop_Fox_News_Virus_says_filmmaker_0314.html

" is a 'Halfrican'."
"He sounds like Hitler."
"Will Prez Barack blame America first?"
"Patriotism makes a little uncomfortable."
"He's so liberal, he's anti-American!"

These are just a few examples of the many biased attacks coming from the right-wing Fox News channel towards Democratic White House hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, argues a coalition of media watchdogs and progressive groups in a new video. Brave New Films highlights these and other audio and video clips to demonstrate what the filmmakers call the "Fox News Virus".

4. no, i did not say that at all
There's just not much we can do about Faux
except not watch and not support their sponsors.

Around here we have people who twist each others words,
who we can speak to directly and say... that's not right.
And hopefully they will get it.

2. stealing candy from a baby....
the baby is the american people. It's hard to promulgate, or make understood, such a seemingly contradictory message-the most powerful group of people on earth have their personal sense of decency, their guilt at obvious wrongdoing, used against them effectively. Liberalism is almost the toughest sell on earth-literally it's self denial. Yet the rightwing 'xonservatives' depict this hard philosophy as weakness, as bleeding heart, and impractical because self interest is the driving motive of human race, and liberalism by design means coming in second. But history shows the exact opposite. Few nations in history achieved the across the board degree of liberalism as the 50's 60's 70's era USA- you went to the fukking moon ferchrissakes. Several times! Post war American culture was the height of ....that was the best way of life imaginable-free to drive sea to sea, to be a hippie or a biker or hari krishna or holly roller or just youirself. And that was what mr pig warred against starting in goldwater era. And that is what the pig has to hide from the people today....the truth
