The projected cost is 3 Trillion bucks. That's $10,000 for each of us...on our credit cards. For a family of 4, that's $40,000. On the credit card. How do we expect the economy to survive that?

I wish Obama or Clinton would put it in terms Americans can understand. We put each one of your kids $10,000 in debt. For what?

I had heard it was 20 grand per person.

But I live for fuzzy math only.

4. Spiral Hawk gets all angry, fuzzy at the very thought of how America has been lied to, and screwed
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 03:14 PM by SpiralHawk
by the republicon cabal for their oil & munitions & mercenary corporation PROFIT CRUSADE against the people of Iraq. Our sons and daughters in uniform are dying and being maimed for this...and we are making a planet-full of enemies for our nation.

Maybe our newly-minted enemies are not attacking America with guns and bombs, but with the Imperial Financial Screwing that was set up by republicon squandering, borrowing, incompetence and malfeasance -- and that every man, woman and child in our United States will be violently impacted by...

This credit-card, cost-per-person stat for the Iraq Oil Profits Crusade is very telling. It should be repeated over and over and over until it sinks into the public mind...Joe six-pack and everyone else can "get" this...

2. So many have maxed out their credit cards, perhaps the charge...
will be rejected. Wouldn't that be nice?

Send it to George. Let him and his cohorts pay it out of their war profits.

11. Incidentally, that ten grand is in addition to the average $8,000 balance that Americans
currently hold on their cards.

So that works out to $18,000.

But the American electorate booted their so-called loony, unelectable asses out of the campaign.

17. Its less for you because most of the world will pay
While Helicopter Ben will let the printing press run to pay the bills, anyone holding US dollars will help pay the costs of war. Unwillingly and even if you are against the war. This is particularly true for the population of India, China, Middle East countries and other oil producing countries, but also anyone in countries where central banks have dollar reserves. In effect most of the world pays for your excesses.
