On a purely visceral level, this past week has felt particularly dark to me

I have been having really vivid dreams of death, suffering, misery (and, in my own little gold fish bowl, things are pretty good)...

The funny thing is I haven't really been tuned into the news or anything political this week at all.

Just on a gut level...Anyone else?

1. Well, hmmm... let's see: Fallon resigns, Cheney to visit ME, Seigleman beaten in prison,
Spitzer taken out, market's crashing tomorrow ... ya .. it's feel pretty dark to me too.

2. I've been feeling pretty dark this week
But it could be hormones.

I dreamt about trying to keep someone from killing Cuba Gooding Jr. last night, and have no idea WTF that was about.

3. Yes. Armageddon will arrive the week after Easter.
Fasten your helmut chin strap and tighten the goggles; wall street, our economy and financial entities are about to hit the fan. My GUT is killing me............

4. Part of it the time of year.
And part of it is knowing that with these dingleberries in charge anything could happen at any moment. :scared:

5. Well, it's going to get a whole lot darker
but at least the collapse is happening on the watch of the man most responsible for it.

9. You're tuned in...
Even if you aren't actively watching or listening. We are all connected, after all..

It something of an unbelievable week, actually.

Here's how Arianna Huffington recapped the week:

"A lot of important things happened this week (Spitzer!). Bear Stearns needed a bailout from the Fed (Kristen!). Oil hit a record $111 a barrel (Emperor's Club VIP!). CentCom chief Adm. William Fallon resigned over differences with the White House on Iran and Iraq (Client #9!). Barack Obama won Mississippi ($5,500 an hour!). The Vatican released a list of "new sins," including cloning and pollution (he likes things "you might not think are safe"!). Provocative comments from Geraldine Ferraro and Rev. Jeremiah Wright roiled the Democratic race (She's got a MySpace page! With pictures!! And music!!!). Gen. Petraeus decried the Iraqi government's lack of "sufficient progress" (Poor Silda!). What, you missed all of that? I can't imagine why..."
