Alan Greenspan, Criminal.
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 10:45 PM by lamprey
At the the down of the GWB era, Greenspan was a cheerleader for deep income tax cuts. Large sustained budget surpluses could threaten the market for Treasury securities, he said.

Then as the subprime market exploded, he cautioned against 'overzealous regulation'. The administration was only to happy to oblige.

“Derivatives have permitted financial risks to be unbundled in ways that have facilitated both their measurement and their management…. As a result, not only have individual financial institutions become less vulnerable to shocks from underlying risk factors, but also the financial system as a whole has become more resilient.”~~Alan Greenspan, May 2003

"American consumers might benefit if lenders provided greater mortgage product alternatives to the traditional fixed-rate mortgage."~~Alan Greenspan, February 22, 2004

“The use of a growing array of derivatives and the related application of more-sophisticated approaches to measuring and managing risk are key factors underpinning the greater resilience of our largest financial institutions.”~~Alan Greenspan, May 2005

"We're not about to go into a situation where (real estate) prices will go down. There is no evidence home prices are going to collapse."~~Alan Greenspan, May 21, 2006.

Negilgence, Criminal Negligence. A gold standard of ideological malice. Burn in Hell. A Private hell, of course.

4. Let's not forget this early Greenspan quote:
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 10:30 PM by brentspeak
"Parasites who persistently avoid either purpose or reason perish as they should."

Alan Greenspan, in the 1950's, writing to the editor of the New York Times, in response to a negative review of "Atlas Shrugged."

To the editor:
Atlas Shrugged is a celebration of life and happiness. Justice is unrelenting. Creative individuals and undeviating purpose and rationality achieve joy and fulfillment. Parasites who persistently avoid either purpose or reason perish as they should,

Alan Greenspan
New York"

6. Greenspan is not...
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 10:34 PM by Mr_Jefferson_24
...criminally negligent, he is a criminal co-conspirator -- he was merely a bit player assigned a role to play, which he did.

Here's the template they're using:

The fed's next trick, throw so much money at the system to 'save' the playas and make the currency worthless. I noticed the M3 is not being published anymore.

10. Yes, this is how they bring...
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 11:26 PM by Mr_Jefferson_24
...the U.S. citizenry to its knees -- the virtually worthless dollar (hyper-inflation) will touch off panic, riots, and other social mayhem which will justify martial law, and that's when the real nightmare we're in for will really get dangerous.

Or, maybe I'm just a paranoid nutcase. It wasn't so long ago that I would've laughed at anybody talking like this.
