Poll question: Without being personal ... have you invested in gold or silver?
This is a "physical gold" question, asked as a poll, so please don´t share any personal information in your message if you feel uncomfortable with doing so. Have you invested in gold or silver?

1. No money, no investments
As I posted in the Bear Stearns poll--nothing invested, nothing to lose. Meh. I am merely a spectator at this point. Me watching the markets:

Shoulda also invested in the "butter flavoring" market. Elaine: "Is that real butter?" Theater employee: "Um...it's yellow!" - Seinfeld

4. Not currently but planning on buying gold (maybe silver)
Leaning toward "tangibles" (except even real estate at this point is becoming scarier).

They are always scrupulously worded, and you never forget to somehow work in the impoverished ... with our gold halos!

9. I bought several pounds
of silver when it was around 5 bucks an ounce. I figured I could always have it melted and could have some jewelry made if it never did anything. I have a small amt of gold.

I inherited gold and silver that was purchased as an investment. I've kept it over the past decade because I thought it would eventually go up in value.

16. I'd be lying if I denied having felt an itch or two
But, I'm not in any desperate need at the moment. I think I'll wait a bit more to see how things continue to play out before I make any decisions.

17. Ordered a new brass tailpiece for my banjo...other than that...
..Actually, that's about all. Maybe not the best investment, but banjos are more fun.
