DU this poll — or, something...
March 16, 2008 - (Macon, GA) The Macon Music announced today that the team is asking Music fans to determine the fate of “Eliot Spitzer Night” which has been scheduled for Friday, June 13th.

“The Music and the League have received an abundance of media attention since the announcement of “Eliot Spitzer Night”. The Music have been featured on ESPN’s Mike and Mike in the Morning, Fox News, and in more than 100 other national, regional, and local media outlets. We have also received a lot of feedback from local Music fans. There seems to be two definite sides of the argument, with many fans wanting the promotion to be carried out and many of the fans wanting the promotion to be cancelled. Therefore, we have decided to host an online poll beginning Sunday, March 16th to determine the fate of “Eliot Spitzer Night. The poll will run until Saturday, March 22nd at 12:00 noon. The results of the poll can be tracked at www.maconbaseball.com and will be officially announced in a press release from the Music next Saturday,” stated Macon Music Assistant General Manager Jason Gold.

I'm not quite sure what to think of this, but it sure underscores Joe Garagiola's assertation that baseball is a funny game. :D
