Franken just said he believes he'll be the nominee. He seemed pretty confident.

I didn't catch the name but he said someone had dropped out of the race.

political books. I think i'm the only person in Sacramento county that wears and "Al Franken doe senate" shirt, you know just in case i run into an undecided Minnesota voter.:D

8. Mike Ciresi dropped out, Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer continues to gain on Franken
but, in my opinion won't catch him. JNP is VERY progressive, but a virtual unknown outside of the 'Cities and college campuses.

Ciresi was the attorney in the tobacco cases and used much of his personal fortune to run the race. He deserves credit for dropping out and not going dirty to try to beat up Franken before the GE. Coleman MUST be defeated and Wellstone's seat must be reclaimed.

11. JNP IS gaining on Al.......hope he catches and passes him....
I was a Franken supporter but after going to my Winona Co convention, I'm a proud JNP supporter now. :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:

10. Franken thought about running in 2006, but I think he wanted to "get" Coleman
