Kicking the Republicans out of control is necessary to redeem America

3. I totally agree...
If America elects McCain, then this entire country is totally
a lost cause.

McCain will widen this war, and catalyze a ton of mess based
on his PTSD-based decisions. The man will attempt to process
his repressed Vietnam rage and trauma, and we'll all be screwed
beyond repair.

A McCain presidency would be like putting a compulsive overeater
in charge of the Hershey factory.

4. I really hope we get to see
an Obama vs McCain Presidential Debate.

Obama's speech on Iraq today convinced me he knows what he's talking about.

7. No -- it will simply CONFIRM another GOP stolen election . . . via computers ---
Edited on Wed Mar-19-08 03:26 PM by defendandprotect
And for anyone who is still naive enough to think this has only been going on since 2000. . .
please read "Votescam --- The Stealing of America" ---

The book was written by Jim & Ken Collier based on the long investigation of computer voting
-- one of them had run for office in the late 1960's in Florida as a basis for a story on the elections --- but on Election night they noticed an odd jump in their total votes and then a fall back after a reported computer breakdown.

Thus began their investigation ---

The computer began to come in during the mid-1960's ....

Their book which was immediately suppressed as soon as it hit the bookstores can be
read or scanned at the website their family keeps going to inform the public ---

8. Since Clinton as done her best to destroy any chance of the Dems winning...

and unless things change before the election ...I will vote like I did in 2000

I can wither the ruin of this country I own my house and have zero debt.

I would have voted for her in the GE ...but when Clinton fawned over McCain ....she became dead to me.

13. Now there's the winning attitude that'll put a Democrat in the White House...
:sarcasm:

Let's all row in the same direction -- it's easier that way.

esp. if exit polls show people voted for him solely because he was white and Obama is black.

If someone who wants to spend endless trillions on war & taxcuts for the rich, who opposes labor rights, who just voted to OK torture, who has a short fuse to the point of losing control at times and who has admitted he doesn't know much about the economy wins it will be 1964 all over again, and the liberal movement will need to be reborn as something useful and powerful.

The sad part is the conservative base doesn't dislike him for this. They are OK with his wanting to spend trillions on war and tax cuts for millionaires. They are OK with (other people's kids) fighting endless wars in the middle east. They are mad because he isn't bigoted enough. McCain is too tolerant towards gays and immigrants, and he is too willing to work across the isle. That fact alone shows how much trouble we are in and how long it'll take to fix it.

The mentality that "irresponsible and dangerous leadership is ok just so long as the leader shares our social prejudices against minority groups" is a mainstream attitude now and a huge problem for McCain and the conservative base, who are such a powerful voting bloc that McCain now has to make efforts to show how he will ally with radical right wing preachers. Luckily doing this alienates moderates, libertarians, businessmen and independents.

17. People that vote for McCain should see to it that their children and grandchildren are
in Iran/Iraq or any other place he decides to invade. If there were a draft, I doubt that the republicans would be so "patriotic".
