As disgraced U.S. Senator Larry Craig heads towards retirement, a man seeking his seat has taken an unusual step in his strategy:

He has changed his legal name to a political stance.

A 66-year-old Idaho strawberry farmer, formerly known after a previous name change as Marvin Pro-Life Richardson, is now, simply, "Pro-Life."

He did so much local advertising he changed his name to Big John and easily won a seat on the county board by name recognition alone. must first commit themselves for psychiatric evaluation for 30 days. I want them examined by every psychiatrist in the hospital, monitored in every possible situation and given every test that exists. Seriously. People who are bat-shit crazy should not be allowed to run for public office.
