My S.O. is one of those guys who, since I met him 20+ year ago, has been a strong proponent of writing his lawmaker. He is thoughtful in his questions and reasoned explanations as to why he holds a particular position and why he thinks the rep/senator ought to consider that perspective. He sends these via snail mail and gets actual responses that aren't canned now and then. This, other than making large donations, is the way he expresses himself politically. His mode of writing is not obnoxious.
He discovered this website which apparently allows you to post questions that you would like the reporters to ask the lawmakers. Other users vote on the questions. He is one of the most popular questioners with the highest vote counts, since apparently others would also like answers. This morning he found that his account had been blocked as well as his IP address. None of his posts are showing up under user search.
Has anyone else ever had this occur? It's making me wonder wtf.
