I understand the picture they're painting.
The least worthy credit risks are being 'sold' mortgages.
A black man in a string vest (I really liked the string vest part. What we'd call a tank top, or an 'athletic undershirt' in the old days.)

Yes, it's a bit stereotypical. There are as many (or more) white guys in string vests sitting on collapsing front porches in Alabama who qualify as the 'picture of the poor' as blacks.
I was particularly interested that they chose Alabama as his location, and I'm not upset about that. We DO have a bit of a reputation.
Worldwide, evidently.

But I love the direct quotes from the big bankers and brokerages.
And what they say is really more-or-less what happened.
