Post No. 1000 (and Scooter)

I was trying to think of something momentous to say about my 1,000th post. But nothing comes to mind. I think back to what first got me to post -- the pardoning of Scooter Libby. That still irks me.

So here's a toast to Scooter, who just recently got disbarred. Enjoy your illegal freedom, while thousands of non-violent drug users sleep tonight behind bars. Enjoy your nice home and family, while thousands of wives and kids sleep tonight with their father/husband overseas risking their lives.

Sleep knowing that a jury of your peers had their collective opinion crapped on and thrown in the garbage because of your special connections.
