Matthew Continetti tells NPR McCain didn't make al-qaeda gaffe
On ATC a few moments ago, The Weekly Standard's Continetti told Robert Segal that there's ample proof that Iran did support AQ in the 90's and still is aiding them. He says the media (i.e. liberal bastion) is playing up the story as a "gaffe" but it's nothing of the sort. So when McCain said it's "common knowledge and has been reported in the media that al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran, that's well known," he actually meant it.

Wow, is this what we have to look forward to if Mcain gets elected? Particularly as he gets older and even more senile? Then, naturally, they'll attack anyone who guestions anything he says as beating up on an old man.

10. i wonder. i havent been following like the past, but,... with war drums with iran
i have wondered why they did not link obl. i figured it was because if they did then it takes away from them having their link with iraq and the reason for starting the war.

13. but they were right! 50s beatniks DID kill us all in our sleep!
then hippies killed everyone all over again in the 60s! then the A.I.M. in the 70s! then Nicaragua invaded in 1986 and burned Dallas to the ground, crucifying 1.2 million along the highway to the Rio Grande!
