1. Don't JUMP to conclusions.
This story needs to unfold BEFORE ANYONE knows ANYTHING definitive.

3. There is no way that three separate breaches of Obama's file--
that were NEVER investigated even though people were fired--was anything other than politically motivated. Idle curiosity my ASS, by three different people apparently willing to get fired--there's a warning on the computer screen that comes up before you can access this stuff, I heard tonight.

6. I am stunned that no one in that office seemed to think this was a big deal--
or did they KNOW it was a big deal, and were protecting others? No investigations, at all, during this primary season, no notification, no nothing--not even a warning to all the office staff after the first breach in January (if it was truly innocent), like "Hey guys, no snooping in Prez candidates' files, you will get fired"? And the info, if valuable for a smear, could have been disseminated or used any which way, by anyone, or even sold.

7. Why would a contractor ever think that there are repercussions ?
No other contractor has been held accountable for shooting civilians, selling tainted water and embroidered towels. What would make these guys think they're any different?

I'll bet the investigation finds these guys with phone calls to tabloids with info on Britney and other celebrities. It just happened to be Senator Obama that raised the flag.

8. How many people are willing NOT ONLY to get fired, but to possibly
undergo an investigation for violation of the Privacy Act, or even a felony, to do something they clearly are warned that they are not supposed to do? That's why most of us didn't swipe from the Dairy Queen or McDonald's till at closing time when we were teenagers--most of us like employment.

10. You make very good points...
but I suspect that the dismissed "contractor" who formerly worked for the Clinton Administration would have better answers than I could provide.

13. Dyncorp did a shitload of business with the Clinton administration.
Mostly for the DOJ (that I am aware). But their defense contracts are FAR more lucrative and they began moving toward defense the minute * was selected. Hmmmmmmm.
