A coverup of major proportions, I now feel the RNC has targeted Obama
So the State Department didn't think it was necessary in January to notify the Obama campaign that his passport records were accessed, they just fired the "contract" employee and dismissed it as "curiosity". Then it happened again, and they still dismissed it. THEN a State Department employee did it and they were disciplined, but only then, after the trifecta was hit, did State feel it necessary to notify Presidential Candidate Barack Obama????

Who is in charge of State? Isn't Condi Baby in charge???? Isn't she supposed to have her leather booted heel on the neck of her staff to prevent this kind of security breach??? Why cover this up and just "fire" these employees without a criminal investigation? This wasn't a prank, this is serious.

The big picture is this, what else have they done to Barack Obama that we will never be made aware of??? Have they tapped his phones? Read his emails??? Bugged his home or campaign headquarters??? Trying to target him as they did Eliot Spitzer??? Remember the Justice Department is corrupt, and capable of doing ANYTHING to anyone.

I leave NOTHING to chance with these scumbags and their desire to keep the White House in Reich wing hands.

will be leaving Office dosen't mean that the GOP dosen't want to keep the throne. Obama leads in the polls...he is in their way...they do things that make on tremble with fear...they follow their own rules on how to retain the seat of the most powerful nation in the universe.

2. If ONE person did it, OK, stupid curiosity
but THREE people?? This is serious, and not just curiosity as State puts it. They tried to find dirt on Obama, and they didn't stop, no matter the cost to the players.

Disciplined and fired my ass, put the three of them in jail. And if they can't put the contractors in jail, the Obama campaign should sue the bastards and file criminal complaints just the same.

7. Wouldn't it be ironic...
...If there were multiple attempts to snoop on Obama's data from multiple parties?

9. If they were soooooo curious, why didn't they look up other famous people?
The fact that it is Obama and only Obama is what makes it smell so bad.

3. I'm sure the phones have been tapped. But one point--they didn't know in January
or at least the story so far, per CNN, is that the State Department just realized yesterday that this had happened.

Not that that will be the final word. Given this administration, there's no telling how much will come out over this. Systematic surveillance of all three Dem candidates, possibly? With FISA being loosened, and no punishment for violating it, why not?

4. Any idea why they revealed the breach?
It doesn't gibe, unless there's a conscientious employee (aka endangered species) hiding in the State Dept who reported the breach before the cabal could stop it.

5. fishing expedition
We will know more about motive when we see what kind of "investigation" ensues. Will they appoint a FIXER to investigate, as Father Bush did when Bill Clinton's file was tampered with in the 90s?

I have no doubt that the RNC has operatives everywhere, seeded into the government itself and into the consulting framework.

Remember. Linda Tripp was a Bush I holdover, placed inside the Clinton WH.

8. contract employees undergo "public integrity checks,"
but that the department does not examine political affiliation. "That would be inappropriate," he said. ( Patrick F. Kennedy)

11. they're doing to obama what they've done to hillary for years,
and will continue to do. reps want dems divided, and will do whatever they can to make it so. That's where all the media bs comes from.

They won't let either get 'ahead' for very long; swing slowly in the wind.

We've got to 'fight' reps., not eachother.

14. Well they can see it
if they lurk on by.

I'd like people here to recognize what's going on, that we're all being played for benefit of Reps., and it will be horrendous if they succeed in destroying the Dem party.
