The passport security breach was prime time news last night;
Why did the Boston Globe bury the story on Page 11 today? Just a few short paragraphs. Maybe the news wasn't as important as the Media made it out to be but it seems to me that it is worthy of more than a quick mention well into the paper.

Did your daily paper seem to give this event very little mention?

1. The typical white person was the big story on my local channels.

2. Looks like NYT buried it too--at least in their online version.
I haven't seen the print version but in the online version it was not on the front page. Moreover it was only mentioned on the "Politics" page in the gossip blog "The Caucus". You had to go to the Washington page to find it and it appeared to be a rehash of other reports.

What this means, of course, I haven't a clue.

3. As in 2004...
The media will be very kind to George Bush and the war in Iraq will rarely be mentioned unless it's good news.

4. Reality is it probably would not have been prime time news if Keith Olberman...
had not run with it at the top of his show. I switched to the "Best political Team on TV - CNN" channel and they didn't have it on for at least a half hour later.

5. Silly yy4me...
"Everyone knows this was just a desperate attempt by the Obama campaign to get the whole Jeremiah Wright story off the news. Too bad it didn't work!"

:sarcasm:
