2. This makes more sense
Rethugs are using contractors to do their dirty work. This is huge and will be neatly tied with the wire taping.

Let's go Dems! Every Senator must speak out.
I'm glad Hillary spoke out about this last night.

4. Dyncorp employees were the subcontractors who are like Blackwater
on the Obama leak, and Hillary's breech is from last year...
I smell Rove.

Someone knew this was coming out after the 3rd Obama breach on Friday and said person snooped on McSameasBush Friday. How fugging neat.

This has been confirmed on M$NBC.

8. So...
At "worst" everyone's files were breached by contractors with little oversight? Now where have we heard this one before? A government agency over-run with political hacks and outside patronage mercenaries? This song sounds so damn familiar.

Welcome to damage control booooosh style...just distort and confuse and people will stop paying attention cause their heads hurt too much. Sure sounds like another scam job on the way. It's their new mantra..."there's plenty to see here...now move along".

So if Gramp's records were "breached" as well, what does this say about an "average joe" who shows up on some list for donating to the "wrong" candidate or posting on a blog or message board or sending an email or making a phone call to the wrong person?

Just some reckless contractors? Before they're reckless, they're partisans.

11. Thank You For Listening
Few around here do...

I'm getting too cynical in my old age...I predicted within an hour of this story breaking last night, we'd hear that HRC's records were looked into and in the ultimate CYA, this regime would try to "negate" it by saying Gramps were "violated" as well. Shift the focus from what was being snooped at and who was doing the snooping into "everybody's doing it".

I found it very telling McCormick wouldn't say the names of the contractors...despite them being under public contract. That's the next round of damage control...and how come I suspect some of our usual suspects will show up. Also once the lid is opened as to whose records are tapped, this could be as embarassing as the revelations of Nixon's snooping. It'll just highlight how our civil liberties and privacy have been shit upon.

Glad you were able to tune in...it's a lifetime labor of love.

:hi:

12. I've been listening all morning
Background music. Hubby was singing along when he peeped out of his study a few minutes ago. It's definitely our generation's music :D
This is way better than Good Friday on Jamaican radio - fire and brimstone all damn day.

You called Watergate 2008 right.

14. If it was just "curiosity"
it would make more sense that all candidates' files were snooped at. Look, I don't easily dismiss it could have been employees with too much time on their hands and deciding to look up the files of some famous people. If they also found some celebrities' files were looked at without authorization then, I think, that would tend to point to that scenario. But then, if it is a sophisticated attempt to get information for nefarious purposes, looking up a bunch of unrelated people to make it look like it was only curiosity, would be a good tactic.
