PassportGate: Anyone else find this weird?

Isn't it odd that of all the presidential candidates that were in the race at the beginning, the only ones who had passport data breached are the three that are still in the race?

Were none of these contractors interested in Romney's, Huckabee's, Giuliani's, Edwards', or any of the candidates that were in the race back when all this "breaching" was supposedly taking place?

Or, has there been some retroactive "breaching" to make it look like it was just some bored contractors snooping around?

Of McCain's passport being snooped? The reason I ask is that if it came late in the game, then it could have been to create a cloud of plausible deniability around the act.

I'll bet a real investigation would find that this is widespread. And that passport info isn't the only thing viewed. There are probably a lot of ex-girlfriend/boyfriends, ex-managers, current managers, etc. that have been checked up on.

Could be quite the list.
